My first mining share was ‘Tenke‘ back in 2004, a giant copper-cobalt story in DR Congo. I’ve never lost the fever.
In 2011, I sneaked into a Casey Research event during a college trip over in Vancouver. Meeting Rick Rule and Brent Cook for the first time felt unreal at that age (23) . I managed to have a 5 minute chat with Rick Rule, his personal advice for a novice/young me: Read “The Intelligent Investor”.
In 2019, I figured it was time to carve out my own spot where I could structure my own thoughts and learn how to write. Additionally, ‘doing’ is a great way to learn new skills. Setting up a website, research SEO, use google analytics, actually write something interesting, etc.
By stepping out of the online anonymity -and my own comfort zone- the learning curve & the networking has switched into a higher gear.
