Mountain Stupid

When someone enters a new field, may it be investing, a new hobby, a new software tool,… we all go through a learning curve. Nobody can escape that initial effort to at least get some sense of the overall scope and complexity… What are some core principles, what are nice-to-haves, what is not applicable in your situation. So while on this learning curve you will have to climb what they call “mountain Stupid”. The more mountains you have climbed, the more respect you will get for them and the lower the chances are you will make yourself look stupid.

Stay humble and appreciate others sharing their climbing experience. In junior mining & speculating, lots of people blow their money as they think they’ve reached the summit and are overly confident. Don’t make this mistake as the market will show you no mercy.

Tip: Find the experts in your desired field & learn straight from them. Cancel out the uninformed mass & the shouting coming from Mt. Stupid.
